Bowman, Julie

Welcome to Mrs. Bowman's 3rd grade class!

It is an honor to teach here at Wolfle and we are going to have a wonderful year.
My philosophy as a teacher is to find the way your child learns best, and help them gain confidence and a sense of belonging in school.  I expect great success from all of my students, and I appreciate you sharing your amazing children with me.  As a parent myself, I know that your children are the most precious people in the world to you, and I strive to protect every child in my care as I would my own daughter.
3rd grade is an exciting, powerful year of learning! Parents can help their third grader by practicing multiplication facts with them frequently, and keep reading with them at least 20-30 minutes a day. Research shows that reading every day continues to be the most important thing we can do as parents to help our children get better in all subjects.
I am looking forward to this school year and getting to know you better. You never have to wait for conference time to talk with me. You can reach me at
Classroom phone is 360 396-3727 (Room B-1)
I am looking forward to a great partnership with you.

About Me
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and worked at KING 5 News for 10 years, where I met my wonderful husband. We discovered a love of Kitsap County and moved here from Seattle in 2004. It was here I realized my true calling is teaching! It is the most fulfilling and thrilling career- and I love it more every year.
I love teaching every subject- but I am especially crazy about science and math, and all of the beautiful ways they intersect. Mostly, I just love learning - and I learn so much from my kids and colleagues each year.
